Meet Suyang near Seomyeon, tour Bujeon Market, choose two banchan and one soup or stew, then cook and eat your meal together. The menu can be adapted for vegetarians and vegans, with recipes to recreate at home. The class lasts about five hours and ends at the meeting point.

“We were hosted by Suyang Chang and enjoyed the cooking class. We visited a local market and sourced the most fresh cooking ingredients of the day. It's Marinated Abalone we learned and it is absolutely scrumptious. The recipe is easy to follow, but the result is surprisingly good. We love the marinated abalone and it is definitely ambrosial and glorious!”

“This was amazing! I did this cooking class back in September and it was such a great experience! I was the only person booking it that day, so we met a little earlier, went to the market together and bought all the vegetables fresh from there! Then, we went to Sanxia‘s apartment and cooked a lot of different dishes! It was really fun!! We all ate together and talked a lot. I actually ended up spending my whole day with Sanxia, her boyfriend Jürgen and their friends. It was my favorite day of my whole solo trip to Beijing, China ^^”

★★★★★★★★★★4.3 · 2 reviews · 4 hours · from $87

Join a small group of up to eight for a four-hour food and culture walk from Café de Tacuba to Jamaica Market. Explore Centro Histórico, sample vegetarian tamales, fruit cocktails, atole or café de olla, ride the metro, taste Mexican garnachas, and make salsa or a huarache with a family-run eatery.

“The part of the tour that I would give 5* is the Jamaican Market tour and cooking our own salsa - including the group metro ride from the old town. Having more time for this would have been even better. Our tour didn't finish until 2pm, and ended in a rush. The first half of the tour was walking around the old town, including inside the Cathedral and seeing some fascinating murals that we'd never have found on our own. This took us by surprise, as it was not included in the descroption if this tour, and was not really food related. You could lose this part of the tour…”
